Yoga sutra 2.09

svarasa-vāhī viduṣaḥ-api samārūḍhaḥ-abhiniveśaḥ

The desire to live is deeply rooted

Another type of fear or aversion is your lust for life (abhiniveśa). Worrying about death or your future causes negative thoughts from anxiety to all out panic, which are all expressions of fear. This fear causes an inflated instinct of self-preservation in you which is deep-seated attachment to your body. Anxiety and desire are at play here: fear of death and excessive attachment to life.
