Wisdom born of discrimination results from samyama on single moments and their sequence
An instant is a single moment in time. The sequential arrangement of these single moments is the passage of time. Samyama, then, is two-fold: on the single moment and on the juxtaposition of single moments put together. This meditation practice thereby teaches instant-by-instant discrimination which is total awareness; being in the ‘here and now’.
