Yoga Sutra 4.34

puruṣa-artha-śūnyānāṃ guṇānāṃ pratiprasavaḥ kaivalyaṃ svarūpa-pratiṣṭhā vā citi-śaktih-iti

The end of the journey is when the guna-s [energies of nature] cease to apply and awareness abides in its own essential nature; the power of Pure Consciousness.

The yogi finds liberation at the end of the yogic path, being the journey to enlightenment.
