Yoga sutra 1.36
viśokā vā jyotiṣmatī
A state of peace can also be attained by the serenity and radiant state of the mind.
Connecting with or meditating on your heart chakra; your inner light is what Patanjali is referring to in this sutra. This source of inner peace is also sometimes referred to as the ‘lotus of the heart’ in other yogic texts. The more you connect with your heart, the more you become calm, tranquil, silent, and content.
