Yoga sutra 2.07
Sukhā-anuśayī rāgaḥ
Desire follows on pleasure which fosters attachment.
You find pleasure in certain things, but such pursuit almost always leads to envy and or attachment (rāga), that is the desire to stay in your pleasure centre/conform zone. As soon as a certain level of satisfaction is achieved, then new desires arise and passions will emerge, creating confusion and tension in your mind.
