Yoga Sutra 3.37



te samādhāu-upasargāh vyutthāne siddhayaḥ


These are perceived as distractions by those who seek complete absorption and as super powers by those who are distracted


Here Patanajli warns you not to focus on the end result, but to remain focused on the process of yoga culminating in complete absorption (samādhi).  Therefore you should not become attached to the fruits of your labour including the ‘super power’ like abilities that come with dedicated practice.
