External contact free of mental fiction is “the great disembodiment” and that which hides the light is eliminated

Our minds are under the influence of dark imaginings.  However, you can shed all attachment to the body so as to allow the mind to functions without coloration. Patanjali describes this as the great disembodiment”.  When a pure mind operates in this state it does so without limitation and the inner Self is revealed.
